Shred It Event

On May 15, 2021 the Association will host a Shred It event from 10:00 AM-1:00 PM at the Clubhouse (1248 Green Garden Circle). Residents are allowed to bring one medium size box (13 inches wide X 15 inches deep X 11 inches in height) for shredding. Residents must register on the association website at www.greenrunhoa.org and click on the Events/Registration tab. Members must be in good standing to participate.  

The Samaritan House and Oceanside Lions Club will also be at the Clubhouse accepting donations for those that may need assistance. Registration is not required to drop off any donations.

A little something about Samaritan House:

Samaritan House is committed to fostering personal safety, growth and self-sufficiency in adults and their children through the freedom from sexual assault, domestic violence, human trafficking and homelessness. Since 1984, Samaritan House has provided emergency and permanent housing, support services and community outreach to victims of domestic violence and homeless families.

The Samaritan House will be collecting donations for the following items only.

  • New twin sheet sets
  • Twin sized comforters
  • New full sheet sets
  • Full sized comforters
  • New women's undergarments
  • Women's comfortable clothing like sweats & leggings
  • Pull ups (all sizes)
  • Shelve-stable food items (think easy to heat meals, cup of soup, ramen, single serve mac n cheese, and canned fruits and veggies)  

The Oceanside Lions will be collecting used eye glasses and sunglasses as well as selling brooms for their charity work. All sales of brooms go directly to charity. In the future they will be in Green Run giving free eye exams to residents.
